ABOUT US

Golden State Gardens creates environmentally friendly and regenerative landscapes. Our sustainable landscape designs emphasize California's biodiversity, conserve precious resources, and create a bridge between your urban garden and nature. We achieve this by designing mainly with California native plants and edibles, limiting garden waste, providing low water landscaping, treating your property as a watershed, and creating pollinator gardens.

Golden State Gardens is able to provide you with high quality designs tailored to fit your lifestyle. This is achieved through our horticulture and design expertise, attention to detail, and ensuring proper communication with you and contractors.

We pride ourselves on discovering unique solutions to your site challenges.

Bianca, owner and principal of Golden State Gardens, was born and raised in San Jose and loves the ecological diversity that California offers. Her designs showcase the beauty of combining artistry with ecology. Bianca believes that even a small parcel of land can be transformed into an oasis where flora and fauna can thrive in unison. When she is not working, Bianca enjoys maintaining her ornamental and edible gardens, cooking, participating in outdoor recreational actives, exploring nature with her children, volunteering, reading, dancing, and traveling.

Bianca is a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) and California Native Plant Society, is a Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper, ReScape Qualified Professional Designer, earned her bachelor of science degree from Santa Clara University, and her associates degree in Environmental Horticulture and Design from Foothill College.
