Hummingbirds, birds, bees, and butterflies flock to this sustainable landscape design created by Golden State Gardens, which uses mainly low water California native plants. This landscape diverts rainwater away from the house and towards the plants with a drywell and swale. This allows for the plants to receive the deep winter rains that they need and restores water to the underground aquifer. The existing 1950's walkway was salvaged and modernized by removing 4" slots every 3', and the driveway was widened by adding pavers so a second car can be easily accessed.
