Evergreen Foothills- San Jose, CA
Installed June 2021, photos taken July 2021.

After the plants initially installed in the landscape became overgrown or reached the end of their life, the homeowners decided that their landscape need a plant refreshment. Golden State Gardens worked with the existing lawn, and several existing plants to create a clean, tidy, and formal garden.

The higher water need plants were brought closer to the house, to reduce sun exposure and lower the amount of irrigation needed. Several California native plants are used in this landscape, which are well adapted to the arid climate. Medium stature trees are used to shade the landscape and add balance to the two store house. A border of Candytuft and Fescue frame the landscape and create one cohesive design.
