Water conservation was a top priority for this recently remodeled home in the Rosegarden neighborhood. Golden State Gardens directed rainwater away from the house and into a swale, which fills with water during a rain and becomes a dry riverbed in the summer. This water conserving techniques distributes rainwater throughout the garden and gives California native plants the deep winter rain that they love. One uninterrupted paver design was used to expand the porch and increase the owners outdoor living. It was also used to expand the width of the driveway and create a smooth curvy walkway.
